Daily tickets may be purchased at the Franklin Theatre box office. However, we encourage you to purchase your tickets early as the number of participants is growing daily and the venue is limited to 275 participants.

The Franklin Theatre box office will provide your ticket and festival lanyard.

Yes. Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least seven days before the festival. After that date, registrations are non-refundable. However, if you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person by contacting us before the festival begins.

In the unlikely event the festival must be canceled, refunds will be handled by the Franklin Theatre. There is one exception: should the Rapture occur prior to the festival, no refunds will be issued.

This isn't the beach, but it also isn't the Oscars – somewhere between those extremes would be acceptable. Think professional but comfortable. Since participants will likely be walking to local restaurants, wear comfortable shoes. Please avoid T-shirts with slogans designed to provoke or incite.

In order to keep registration costs as low as possible—and give attendees the freedom to explore the many restaurants within walking distance of the theatre—meals are not included with festival registration. CLICK HERE to explore nearby dining options.

Yes. The Franklin Theatre offers traditional theatre snacks and beverages, although it does not offer a full meal menu. Alcoholic beverages are neither sold nor permitted inside the theatre.

Yes, all official events of the Gideon Film Festival are in the same building with the exception of the invitation-only brunch. Meals and informal networking outside the scheduled program are up to individual participants.

Since attendees may be staying at a wide variety of hotels and rental properties throughout the area, the festival will not be providing shuttle service.

Unfortunately, due to theatre staffing requirements, Gideon's access to the theatre starts exactly at noon and ends exactly at 10:00 PM. Venue doors will not be unlocked by the theatre until noon and must be locked by 10:00 PM each night.

Certainly. When you check in, you’ll receive a festival lanyard and name badge. Simply show your badge and ticket to the door attendants when you return.

Absolutely! We encourage it. Nearby late-night restaurants and hotel lobbies are great places to keep conversations going, and the festival will do its best to help attendees connect and continue networking after hours.
